Controlling Excellence -
This
seminar discusses the art and science of management. We cover
the definitions of management and discuss aspects of leadership
as well.
Management
styles are explored with both a personal and historical
perspective.
As we
develop the principles of the famous ODA closed loop, specific
modules covered include planning, measuring and controlling and
analysis.
A key part
of the program is the development of teamwork principles. Two
case study sessions are considered in small groups, one of
planning and one on systematic problem solving.
Practical
advice is provided on delegation, discipline and employee
direction.
The
participants leave this seminar with an understanding of what
excellence in management means for them and their firm.
