Don is
a graduate of Yale and the Columbia School of Business
and has held management positions in various industries,
including consumer packaged goods, hospitality, and
advertising, as well as entrepreneurial and consulting
ventures. In his capacity with Kraft Associates ODA as a
senior business advisor, Don brings broad exposure to
different management styles, the ability to add value to
a range of business situations requiring change, and a
sensitivity to the human element of business
performance.
In
executive positions, Don developed and introduced new
products, managed organizations to record growth, and
positioned a privately held company for a successful
restructuring.
He has
developed a specialty practice in the hospitality
industry and the private club industry where he has
authored numerous articles on marketing and executive
management, and is a speaker at industry conferences.
Don
has a passion for creatively adapting business theory to
real world, everyday business performance, effectively
balancing the need for new thinking with the ability to
change. This can be seen in his approach to using new
online and social media tactics within a traditionally
organized and managed business.
“There
has never been a better time for entrepreneurs. Our
greatest challenge is less with new techniques and
disciplines, and more with aligning and motivating the
entire team to work with passion toward common goals.”
