After
graduating from Juniata College with a BS in Liberal
Arts, Bill attained an MBA from St. Joseph’s University
in Philadelphia. He holds the Certified Purchasing
Manager (C.P.M.) designation from the Institute of
Supply Management (ISM) and is Certified in Production
and Inventory Management (CPIM) by the American
Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).
Bill
has over 20 years of experience in Operations management
with Teleflex/Morse, Unisys, Ralston-Purina, and
Appleton Papers. He has held increasingly more
responsible positions in purchasing, inventory control,
materials management, customer service, systems
development and supply chain management. This career
path led to being named Director of Supply Chain
Management for Teleflex/Morse Marine Division.
As
a Lean Manufacturing practitioner, Bill was instrumental
in converting one manufacturing plant to a Lean
operation which reduced inventories by 25% and freed
enough space to avert a million dollar expansion Bill is
an experienced Total Quality practitioner. His formal
training was through Philip Crosby Associates. He has
been involved in two ISO9001 certifications and many
successful recertifications. He has been able to use
these same quality improvement tools to help Kraft
clients be more effective. Working through these
positions of leadership have given Bill a broad based
background. This enables him to have the vision to make
recommendations that will help you achieve your
objectives. He has the hands-on experience with the
tools necessary to make lasting improvements in
organizations. He brings critical thinking skills
required to analyze and develop both processes and
